Point Reduction & Driver Improvement Courses
What if what you learned years ago behind the wheel is now out of date?
At aLord Ashley Driving School, our Point Reduction Course helps you refresh your driving knowledge, reduce points on your license, and discover the new safety rules and techniques that today’s drivers need. Drive smarter, safer, and with renewed confidence—because better driving starts with staying up to date.
Are You Still Driving with Outdated Habits?
Most people learn to drive once—and never update their skills again. While that first lesson may have been enough to get you on the road, driving techniques and safety standards have evolved dramatically over the years. Unfortunately, many drivers still rely on outdated theories that no longer apply to today’s vehicles and road conditions.
For instance, the classic “10 and 2” hand position was replaced decades ago when airbags became standard—yet many drivers still use it. Another outdated rule? Keeping one car length for every 10 mph. Modern safety research now recommends using time-based following distances instead.
Staying current isn’t just about passing a test—it’s about staying safe. Refresh your driving knowledge today and experience the confidence that comes with modern, evidence-based driving techniques.
