About the SC DMV Skills (Road) Test
The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Skills (Road) test is administered by a certified driving instructor in aLord Ashley Driving School SCDMV approved vehicles only.
Important Requirements
- • An application and payment is required before a test appointment is scheduled. Click here to register
- • Applicant must have a current, valid SC beginner's permit on hand at the test
- • aLord Ashley Driving School does NOT accept walk-in students for the road test - appointments are required
- • Road tests are conducted as scheduled however, the aLord Ashley Driving School road test evaluator reserves the right to cancel any scheduled test due to severe weather or unsafe conditions
Per SC DMV Regulations
A parent or legal guardian MUST sign required paperwork for all students under age 18.
The student must have their current, valid SC permit on hand at the test.
Testing Locations
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for the test review.
